HubSpot Marketplace Now Enforces Supported App Versions
In short: HubSpot's announcement from 7 May sets 2 November 2026 as the start of supported developer-platform version enforcement for Marketplace listings and certification. New listings built on legacy apps or on Projects 2023.2 or 2025.1 will be rejected, and apps going through certification or recertification get roughly 60 days to migrate to a supported version such as v2025.2 or v2026.03. It is not a blanket shutdown of existing HubSpot integrations.

What changes
HubSpot's May announcement sets 2 November 2026 as the date it starts enforcing supported developer-platform versions for Marketplace listings and certification.
- New listings built on legacy apps, or on Projects 2023.2 or 2025.1, will be rejected.
- Apps going through certification or recertification get roughly 60 days to migrate to a supported version, such as v2025.2 or v2026.03.
Why marketing teams should care
Agencies increasingly connect ad leads, offline conversions, CRM stages and sales automation using third-party or custom apps. An outdated app platform can delay a launch, a certification or a rollout, even when the marketing plan is ready.
What to check
- Which HubSpot platform version does the integration use?
- Is a new Marketplace listing or certification planned?
- Has the team allowed time to migrate and retest lead syncing, OAuth and CRM workflows?
What it is not
This is a Marketplace eligibility and certification requirement. It is not an announcement that every existing HubSpot integration stops working. If you build lead-gen workflows, also see our integration audit for the Meta Marketing API deadline.
